What it is like to be a Manifestor? | Human Design

One of my best female friends is a Manifestor. I asked if she would like to do an interview. Of course, she said. I can stay anonymous. I send you the questions, I have said. But you do not simply send questions to a Manifestor and make her answer them, right? As a Projector. I mean. Seriously.

The Human Design Manifestor

I admit it, I initiated it. Because…I felt very invited. Because I introduced her to Human Design, in first place. Invited. So technically, there have been an invitation, back then.

So, we were hanging around as usal and I started the interview, accompanied by a lovely gin-tonic. It was one of those: now or never-moments.

“Was it helpful for you, to have the knowledge of being a Manifestor?”

“Yes. Extremely helpful.” She makes huge gestures. “It really was.”

It is an Aura-Thing

Beside that, she decided not to say more on that. And I couldn’t ask her. You understand that, right? It is an Aura-thing.

We talked about schedules, and how often we meet, and how we worked on our relationship. Private stuff, you know. She is actually the second Manifestor friend I have – as far as I know. I never perceived the Aura of Manifestors as repelling. I indeed find it very calming to be around them. No sacral buzz. No annoying eating noises. It is not about the: feed me – fuck me vibe. It is not basic, you know. Unless you fight. For real.

What everyone wants to ask a Manifestor

And then I asked her the most important question a Projector can ask a Manifestor: “What is it like to be a Manifestor?” (I know, it is so much fun.)

Actually, her answer is quite complex for a Mental Projector like me, because for her, it is all about the impact.

“So, being a Manifestor means impact?” (I tried to keep it as neutral as possible.)

Yes, she said. For her, it is only from interest when she can have some impact. (The way she said that felt like it is a kind of bodily sensation: the impact.) The impact that comes from her, that moves something: from A to B, out of the way, like that. (Again, I feel it is really a body thing.)

Manifestation? Impact, Baby!

The next question. Of course: “And how you manifest?” (I know, I know. Too good.)

Well, she cannot wish to manifest something. Like to wish for something, and then it will happen. It doesn’t work that way. To be honest. She doesn’t really know how it works. But it does.

Personally, I think it is about the fun part of being a Manifestor: The impact. It is the impact, baby.
